It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi International Agriculture University, Bilhaur, Kanpur — an institution envisioned to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of agriculture, education, research, and rural development in India and across the world.

From the fertile fields of the Gangetic plains to the diverse agro-climatic regions of the country, Indian agriculture represents centuries of knowledge, experience, innovation, and an enduring relationship between farmers and the land. Our University seeks to bring this rich heritage together with modern science, technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and global perspectives.
Agriculture today stands at the centre of some of the world's most important challenges — food and nutritional security, climate change, water scarcity, sustainable livelihoods, biodiversity conservation, rural transformation, and the growing demand for safe and quality food. Addressing these challenges requires globally competent professionals who can combine scientific knowledge with practical understanding and a deep commitment to farmers and society.
At Maharishi Mahesh Yogi International Agriculture University, we aspire to create an environment where classrooms connect with farms, laboratories connect with field realities, and knowledge connects with society.
